Build an identical engine

Sorry couldn`t help my self. But seriously, this car has a custom setup and building an engine like this will cost you more than you are willing to spend IMHO

Edit: I`m an arrogant t**t. Sorry mate, I should have checked your link first. I was thinking of the black SportQuattro. The car in your link used to be an 10VT stock URQ. It still is a longbase URQ, but with a Dialynx bodykit. Now it has a custom setup containing RS2 ADU engine,custom exhaust, turbonetics turbo, custom ic and plumbing, custom cams, custom exhaust manifold/header, intercooler mister, custom eprom mapping, highflow fuelpump and the list goes on.

The car was built by www.auto-safe.no and tuned by www.audituning.com. It is now serviced, maintained and raced by www.audisentrum.no

That noise is made be by the internally wastegated turbo. I drove Jogis car and that made the same noise. Sounds really good

I used to get similar sound when FORGE Dv was fitted with red spring and 2 additional washers.(doubt if it was healthy for my engine )

Maybe that was the sound of compressor stall, because you stopped your DV working.

Thanks for all the replies. So you guys think the loud spooling sound is from a internal wastegated turbo? Is he running a bov or a dv because after letting off the thottle you can hear a chiff?

Thats the wastegate chatter. More than likely uses NO BOV or DV.

Thats just a cone type filter making the noise, along with high boost. You may find that if its not running std engine ECU, then there is no MAF or intake piping and just a filter stuck onto the coldside of the turbo.

Fact and not fiction;

Stock 20VT wastegate
3" downpipe
Wastegate exhaust is plumbed back into exhaust system like stock
Large DBR DV is installed
Running with ADU MAF
Custom K&N open air kit with custom IC plumbing through large custom IC

The sound you hear is roughly 500bhp, there is no part in itself that makes the engine sound like that. Its the sum of the setup.

Physically the ADU MAF is indentical to the ABY MAF. They have different part numbers tough and some claim they give different readings.
