Now that's interesting and surly will be a high demand for the 20VT engines if he can write up an engine transplant project for the mass. Of course not withstanding selling his custom parts as his fees.

It is not hard to do an I5 B5 Quattro, I did done years ago in 2009

Used it daily for 2+ years

Handles horribly!

Did it handle even worse than a B4 quattro? Why was that?

the engine is so far forward it totally upsets the geometry,

I did eventually take the car off the road and chassis mount the engine and move it 8 inches back and 4 inches down I think,

sadly lost interest and the shell was scrapped and parts sold as seeing my son was more important.

it was front mounted radiator car also, and originally a Quattro so even more of a ball ache!
