for several months now ive been looking into buying an rs2, carefully taking in all the information available on the forums

once again id like to ask advise. im test driving this car on the weekend, but the price puts me off. its more than 6K€ more expensive than other models in germany and swiss with apparently similar mileage.

this one has had the cambelt changed recently. from other fotos i can see the interior is very well looked after, but that and a new cambelt are not worth 6K

i drove the car in the ad above today and since its the first rs2 ive driven i was understandably impressed. explosive acceleration!!

tim has kept this car in mint condition, at least on the outside. not sure what's gone on with the engine since the service booklet is gone! after a dispute with the local audi dealership they refused to return it to him: "we lost it"

one question: are all clutches quite stiff on rs2's? it required quite a bit of pressure one the way down, but on the way up it almost bounced back.

the breaks were also very stiff, ie the pedal did not move much but the breaking was, in my eyes, not hampered in any discernable way. is this normal?
