Coupe GT to Quattro

Hi guys,

New here and need some advice... I have a 1984 Coupe GT and would like to build myself a short sport. Now rather than go to the cost and effort of finding a quattro coupe i was wondering if i can use my current coupe and weld the floor pan out of another newer quattro say B3/4 into it since i'll be chopping it in half and doing loads of welding anyway?? Is this do able, has anyone on here done it or know of it being done???

It's hell of a lot of work, but anythings possible I guess.

Thanks for your help on this. Have looked into it and although this has been done before it looks like a lot of work so with that in mind i've managed to find a type 85 quattro coupe :-)

It's not that bad to do once you get into it , I had to do it as kept getting let down on shells I was promised

My conversion page long time ago.
The amount of hours needed to do this properly you might as well just go and buy an urquattro.
Unless you have nothign else better to do and have the skill set.
