Hello,
has anyone tried to fabricate new exhaust heatshields or used the adhesive backed heat shield material to replace knackered factory items?
Old ones are pretty knackered and they seem fairly rare to find in any better condition than what I have
I made my own from heat shield sheets from eBay, My originals were similar if not worse as yours. Not perfect but will do the job
I did consider getting the self adhesive type and just wrapping the originals with that but they were covered in waxoil and falling apart so opted to just make from scratch. As Tractor Dave says just use your originals as templates
