rear diff lock explained

dunno if i posted this, but here is a pretty clear picture on the rear diff lock mechanism for those who wonder.

this was the last rear diff we blew up, spider gears must have let go and took the top of the case right off. but left a nice window to see whats really going on in there.

that was actually what i saw and reminded me of it, but i am not on there....

this is how that one came about, too.

he runs a FWD drag car and was only his 4th or 5th launch in my car. that was the only action the car saw in 2014, too :-(
