virus :(

evening chaps, my laptop has a virus and i dont have any virus protection etc so thought ill just download avg and bish bash bosh, well i cant get on any anti-virus sites nor can i get on windows update etc due to the sneaky little fecka.
any ideas other than smashing it to bits :banghead2:

If you can download combofix : http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/down...virus/combofix on another pc and with a usb stick, you may be able to download it with the infected pc.

Uninstall AVG, and reboot in safe mode and run combofix.


Other useful apps are tdsskiller.exe, and http://www.superantispyware.com/

Someone might be able to email or host the download file for you. Other option is to go back to a restore point from before you got the virus.

Beeping computer and malware bytes were 2 programs that were recommended to me a while back, when I got a little fecker on my PC.

I have uploaded latest combofix.exe to yousendit , I have called it sam80.exe just incase the virus tries to kill the task.

You can run it from the desktop, but it doesnt like avg.

Go to pc world get a norton virus protection and when you put the disc in should hopefully clear it worked for me and always keeps it virus free
