he is a wanna-be-hollywood-rally-driver. any wrc driver could do this.
I saw mr.Block last weekend on LA x games vs sebastien loeb, he got 1.5-2sec per round

I agree...a lot of rally drivers could drive like that. But how many are able to shut down part of a large city to have fun. The videography is cool. It is intended for entertainment and advertisement. I don't believe Mr. Block himself thinks he is the best.

I think that it awesome that someone was able to sell a clothing product so well that he has the ability to compete in a professional racing event.

Who would not want to have enough money and enough talent to compete in WRC?

I agree, no wrc driver couldn't do this. It's just sponsorship premotion through time and expense. Imagine that whole video shot with the general lee great little car tho!

They made winning cars for the rallycross before Mr. Block even [insert silly comment]

Indeed, the guy has some skills but these cars are so neutral and 'easy' to drive these days. And what did he won lately..?
The entire Dutch rally championship is flooded with newer WRC cars (like 20 odd competing) driven by alike big time moneymakers needing some tax free space for advertisement, though looking fast lose 10s / km if they join an international event...

Would be great to see RedBull put Leob in a similar playground- again for pure entertainment value!

Thats because I dont think the car is built by them. You are thinking about the 5 door shell he had.

As for what he does I think we would all do the same if we had the money? I cant knock him for that, he is a good driver for somebody who isn't a pro? You cant compare him to Loeb because nobody has touched him for years.
