Just had a near miss on the M25 and the thought that flashed through my brain wasn't family life etc, it was, WTF would I replace my S2 with because I'm sure the insurance wouldn't give me enough to get another
I probably can't even find another one like mine, even if the insurance would pay a proper sum.....
What I would replace it with would depend on if I would limit myself to the value of the S2 or fork out more cash. in the latter case I would probably go for either an early urquattro or an Alfa Montreal. if I would only spend the available cash, then I would more likely go for a mint typ85 80quattro than another S2
If the worse was to happen I would seriously be tempted with b5 RS4 or my fav a c5 RS6 saloon, If that fails 1990 BMW 325i Sport in dolphin grey or a red Vauxhall Astra GTE 1990 model absolutely love those cars and always class them as the cars that got away!!!!

Love them both, two very different cars though.......have had the Astra engine in a few Mantas over the years, great fun.

So if you had to pick.......325i or GTE ?
Lol I always wanted a GTE my 1st car was a C reg 1.3 Astra loved it wrote it off and bought a 1.4 Astra great car then bought my 1st Audi which was a A reg Coupe 2.2 then hooked ever since so I would probably go for the GTE
