  • Daily driven quattros since 2001...

First the CQ20v, then the UR-S4, then the S2 Avant which i swore off road at the end of the January. Time to drive something newer i said, time to try a RWD i said, then a freaking snowpocalypse appears. DOH

It could be worse, I've just had to abandon my empty Isuzu tipper. It won't go up the even slightest of inclines!
'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.

Studded "Hakka's" on my winter bike let me almost dance (clickity-clickity) across the silent ice encrusted town and even brave the grated steel swing bridge these past few days.

Here in my province we will have poisoned the roads with roughly two million tons of salt by the end of winter to in part, democratize the roads for those more disposable and less capable than quattro. As if we can dissolve winter's white as an inconsequential ongoing practice, as if other than chemically; this was a solution.
