  • Rear diff oil leak s2 3b

I have a small oil leak on my s2 3b, oil seams to be coming for where the dif lock arm connects to rear diff, I’m hoping there’s a seal in there that needs changing, appreciate any advise , and maybe where I can locate parts needed

There is no seal there, you probably have actuator arm rubber boot leaking. Part no: 017525075A
Checked Audi Tradition shop and seems to be available.

No need to drop anything, plenty of room around there. Just release vacuum actuator rod from the arm, remove clamp and off it comes.

Be careful not to bust anything. It's in the elements a little and doesn't get a lot of work so maybe seized up. I had to mend one for a good friend . He tried to find a replacement unit but couldn't. I believe the rubber boot is about £50 quid as I also require one for my aby . Good luck kind regards Lynn
