    Breaking CQ20v

Going to be scrapping the 91 CQ20v at the end of July. I passed it onto my nephew who got the last bit of life out of it until it suffered a sudden loss of compression on cyl 5. I estimate the car has over 400k miles on it at this stage. Has also also been through a hedge backwards in recent years (don't ask), and was resprayed on the cheap so its really not worth fixing. Has been parked up for the last 3-4 years so its a bit of a petri dish inside too.

Planning to keep the cyl head and 5 stud hubs as spares for the S2, but if there is anything else coupe or 7A specific anybody is looking for let me know. Car is a few hours drive from me in Northern Ireland so i will probably only have a day to pull it apart. Any 7A owners looking for specific parts send me a wish list as not many of them left at this stage.

Basically looking to put together a list of parts i need to keep at this stage, but will list the parts with prices for sale at a later date (as per forum rules). Not really fussed about making any money out of the parts, would just like to see them go to some use. Only catch is shipping from Ireland to the UK can be expensive for heavy or oversize items.

Hi Mark, does it have forged wishbones and are they straight?

No, has the regular pressed ones.

Will grab the pump off it. Gearbox probably isn't worth the effort as it always had a weak 2nd gear syncro, and has big mileage on it. Do you need one badly? No AC on the car.
