    Powder coat properties.

Can anyone tell me with whether or not a powder coated surface such as wheels is completely resistant to prolonged exposure to DOT4 brake fluid please?

Don't think many things are resistant to it for long periods bud

Yeah I'm not sure anything is completely resistant to brake fluid, it's nasty stuff. I have powder coated plenty of stuff that was exposed to/covered in brake fluid at times, and it does hold up pretty well, but if you let the fluid sit on a powder coated surface it will eat the coating in pretty quick order.

I guess if it's epoxy based you might have a chance, but I doubt it would be epoxy on a wheel as they tend not to be UV stable.
