    PayPal payment

Have agreed to buy a part from a guy on Facebook. The problem is he wants the payment as friends or family and I want to pay as buying goods and I will cover the extra cost.
The problem is a trust issue,he is afraid that after receiving the parts I will report him and claim the money back and I’m afraid I won’t receive the parts in good order so want a bit of insurance my side.Has anybody else has this issue when buying goods from abroad.

Also he’s not on any Uk forums.

Simple rule, do it by the book. Friends and family are friends and family.....

As above. For peace of mind, I would pay the buyer protection fees.

Same here. If you have any doubts. Don't send money. Parts you looking for can come up from trusted sellers later on

Can't see why he cares if you are prepared to cover the additional percentage.

I suppose my Facebook account doesn't look the best, no profile picture and no friends added.I actually detest Facebook but decided to join after browsing through my wife's account and searching for car related stuff.I couldn't bear the thought of adding friends and family after looking at some of the sh*t she has to look through!

I steer very ear of FB. I have to deal with losers complaining about it at work.. That's enough..
