    De-badged cars

Thinking of getting rid of all the identifying badges and rings when I get the car sorted out what are peeps opinions on this, Marmite sort of thing I feel, but be nice to keep people guessing what's going on with the old beast

Nah, they’re so rare now nobody knows what it is anymore. Least of all new Audi owners or worse still, Audi dealers. With the badges on at least they might go home and google what just wasted them.....

I took the 'L' model badge off my kia sedona family wagon. It made no difference to how cool it looked

Naa keep it original badges front n rear with Audi 4 rings at the front. When somebody nicked the front badge off mine it felt like an ordinary Coupe (don’t ask why) so ordered a new one when I got home!!

Keep the badges, they are subtle and make it look more special (to those that know) than a standard Coupe...

Haha . Similar here. The numbers at the start of my registration are 903. A passer by one day admired my coupe when I was cleaning it
They stopped to chat and asked, 'is it a 2003 car?'

They were quite taken aback when I said no, it was made in 1990.

Says something about how modern it must have looked in a car park back in 1990.
