    Sending parts to Europe

I have sent alot of parts all over the world and previously the customs requirement was a description of the item and its value, now you need a unique tariff code for an individual item, i.e an inlet manifold has its own code, idle control valve has another code etc. The system to find these codes lists none of the parts I want to send and the search function is useless. Don't know if this is just for Europe as I sent some parts to US couple of weeks ago with no issue. Just seems like they are making it impossible to trade with EU. Can anyone help with this please.

I found the parcel force and royal mail tariff code checker was pretty good. I sent some stainless steel laser cut washers to America recently and royal mail was the cheapest (admittedly it was a large letter size packet) and it found a close enough code match for the washers. Do expect there is a perfect match for EVERYTHING in the world but there will be something close.

    What are you sending?

Water rail, engine loom and fuel rail, spent about 2 hours looking for codes and could not find anything similar but by the time you have searched through everything, they give you a code for 'other'. It's bonkers as this code only seems to apply to sending stuff in EU, you can send stuff anywhere else in the world and you only have to put in description and value.

Code is only needed for commercial shipments.
If you can't send without a code, then there should be enough "general" car parts tariff codes that will cover your needs.
