That RS2 was sick. Given they came from the Heritage Collection at Audi, surely they could have traced and fixed the problem and given it a proper outing. The S2 looked handy though!sigpic

Anyway, that RS2 had issues, it should have been nearly as quick as the SWB and actually should have been the first off the mark apart from perhaps the rally car. One of the marketing gimmicks when they launched the car in 1994 was that is was faster to 30 MPH than an F1 car of the same period, which whilst impressive is pretty meaningless in real life.1989 B3 2.0 3A 80 quattro... I think the RS2 was meant to be faster to 30 mph than a McLaren F1 road car (the Gordon Murray designed road car, like the one Rowan Atkinson had).Comment

I just found this 2021 RS2 article (including video - German with subtitles). Not sure if it has been posted on this forum before (sorry if so). I had not seen an RS2 in that particular green colour before. It looks like it lives in the Porsche museum or Audi museum?
