Oh man..... they were nearly £1k back in the 90's....

I'd love one to replace mine, but only because it is a bit crusty.

Note for those with cast manifolds on a 7A, you need the next bit in the pipework down as well to convert....

      Presumably that's brand new?
What's the going price for a second hand one?

I've always wondered what they'd look like polished up...

Has anyone actually had an issue with their bag of snakes? Touch wood, I haven't. They sound durable - stainless steel tube, 2mm wall thickness.

My Dad had an issue with his late 90 20v's cast exhaust manifold - a broken stud, maybe it was two. This was back in the 1990s. The car was young but had done perhaps 100k miles. Thought I'd since read that it's more likely with cast manifolds - can't remember if it was down to the extra weight or inflexibility.

It would look great hanging on the wall in the garage/workshop/mancave, I´m very tempted!

My bag of snakes is just a bit crusty, probably fine.

I swapped my cast manifold out for it, as it had cracked underneath and sounded horrid.... I paid £40 for the bag of snakes and shield second hand....

But that was nearly 20 years ago.
