compact oem expansion tank

polo/lupo looks the smallest that i can find but there may be something smaller out there.
ideally from something vag.

The round ones fitted to various VAG models probably take up the least space out of the few VAG use's accross their range. I think you'll struggle to find one much smaller as they need to be at least a liter to work and give an acceptable range between min and max levels.

Oh okay, i didn’t know that they need to be atleast a litre. either polo then or the mk7 golf one may be a good shout?

Yep, that's sort of thing I had in mind, can't think of a VAG tank thats any smaller. My statment of a 1L min capacity is not based on anthing other than my experiance of working on various cars over the years. You might be able to find something a touch smaller if you started looking at sub 1.6 French cars.

So after some more searching. It looks like the vw up/ seat mii expansion bottle is as compact as its going to get in the vag range.
