Heater controls

Hi guys. Anyone changed the heater controls on A cq 7a. Mine just don't work at all all the cables a tight like they are sized and the controls don't make any difference what ever setting you turn them too.thanks

I experienced the same.
Made a mistake when I corrected the situation: cut the foam on the flaps around the metal flaps.
It has to touch the housing. So now I have a lot of air leaking around a closed flap.... so need to do it all again some time...
