    Heater problems

Not the time of year to be havin heater problems! F'in car is really starting to do my head in!. Ok getting no heat in the car and yet it fills with smoke/ steam. Is this time to get rid of the car !? Because if that's the matrix I believe that's a big job or is it just a question of dampness evaporating because it hasn't worked for ages until now it's like a bra cadabra working but no heat but well anyway any thoughts please....

Does sound like the heater matrix. If you are near West Wales I can give you a hand.

Thanks for that bud. I live in deepest Cheshire mate.Ill investigate this weekend. No water anywhere just a steam coming through the vents has no smell to it of anti freeze just mists up my windows blowers at full chat.

        Has your coolant level dropped?
The only other explanation could be a water leak from the air intake into the heater box and it collected in there. Is the car left outside? We had some mega rain last month.

I would expect some dampness in the front footwells. The airbox isn't sealed very well.
