    Restoration begins

Guys its come to that time after 10 years ago when I replaced the subframes and bushes that the S2 requires a decent amount of work to keep it road worthy, body wise car is good a few scratches here and there as you would expect on a 30 year old car but the underneath is starting to catch up.

So the rear subframe is off and will be shot blasted down to get the real condition of it but am after the following parts if anyone can help please:

    o/s outer CV boot
anti roll bar bushes and clamps x2 each
    rear wishbones

Might be after a rear subframe and just FYI its a 1995 S2 Coupe

parts still available on AT that I need and am hoping am not too late for the order are:

    o/s hand brake cable
    subframe bushes x4

Help and guidance would be magic please

    Thanks
    Anthony

Anthony, I remember looking underneath your coupe and seeing the new (last one available?!) rear subframe....... surely it can't be that bad already ?

                  Any pictures of it?

Thanks Dave & John, it’s got more holes than a pair of whores knickers . Seriously it’s come back blasted down and it’s not clever I’ll try and load from my phone, John it was the front that was one of the last ones and that’s still fine, the rear was a decent one from Spain, my garage autobahn have said it’s repairable but it’s weak

                      Ah, front one new !

There's always the option to get a front one and modify it, supply of these is better.

Post 188 here, you'll get the idea...... Pearl white coupe revival - S2Forum - The Audi S2 Community

If your diff and track arm mounts are ok then they could be cut off and grafted on to a good front frame? I'm sure there was someone here making/selling the diff mount bracketry ?

The diff mount part was easy. The anti-roll bar/track rod mounting was not. It is a good thing it is hidden cuz my result is ugly although strong.
