I dj'ed under the name DJ Destiny for 13 years, after I retired from that I didnt want to use it on forums I had joined after that, as 1)its crap lol 2)not really relevant anymore.
Dest was already a nickname that had been used for a few years, so I shortened it to that on all other forums I use

At Uni I used to rock climb and ice climb a lot, but I'm addicted to cake. Whenever I had a trip or expedition planned, I'd train hard and loose a stone or two - go do the climb - then get fat eating cakes when I got back.

My mates gave me the nickname because I was either far too big to be a climber (Beast) or frantically training to get back in shape (Thinning)

It's obscure - like most people's - which is what makes it good as a username

I go to cat shows or homes of the general public,getting paid silly amounts of money to detail their clagged-out Persians.Its very dangerous,insurance and tetinus a must.Ive had a claw miss my retina by 2mm and beenbitten down to the bone 3 times.I wear no protective equipment and use no sedative whatsoever,on the cat!!

Some think its gay,some half-arsed occupation,some think its cool!I know I was put on this planet to groom cats as my job and I shall continue to do so for many years to come.However,I may one day get lascerated evilly by some manky old ginge!If I do decide to stay in bed with her some more,I may not be grooming that day!!!

Since the recent clamp down on waffle, this is probably my last and only chance for a bit are artistic license .....

I think I probably win the 'hardest to pronounce name' award, if nothing else, so let's start with that.....Since HPmuirt is a made up name with no meaning what-so-ever, I get to choose how it is pronounced

Thus, HPmuirt is officially pronounced "hup-mert"

Reason: well I own a couple of old triumph cars, so when I needed to make up an online Doom and then Quake name years ago, I simply used the name Triumph backwards. (I did use idua for a while too). The capitals were just I also used it as a false name for interweb logins - Mr H. P. Muirt (which is ironic as several folks on here call my that...spooky eh ) and also it was common with online gamers to use random capitols in their names.

I also own the domain name so use it for mine and my wife's email addresses. Funniest thing is that I have used the word for so long, it just feels normal to me, so when telling people my email address (such as example@hpmuirt.com) I just expect them to be able to write down hpmuirt.com when I say 'hup-mert dot com'. for some reason they never spell it correctly

@Catgroom - Erm hmmmm do you do dogs too????? All the places round here keep saying no when they find I have a staffy alsation cross!! For some reason they don't elieve that he is so as the proverbial.... Shaving him and leaving racing stripes is not a good look on a dog
