Where to drive my S6 to for Christmas holidays?

Ok, been thinking about a holiday where I drive and not fly (had about 40 flights in last 2 years ).
    Do I drive to:
    Iceland?
    Norway?
Bavaria (Austria & Czech Republic included)?
    Just Austria?

As for Iceland you may have trouble as the ferry company(Symril) have stopped operating out of Lerwick(so i understand),may be another way but i reckon it would be too much arsing around.I went to iceland several years ago,and would like to go again but think i would fly next time.

I was in Norway in 1996. It was very expensive in relation to the UK for food, drink etc.
What is it like there now?
Cost of accomodation, food, drink, fuel etc?

Can drive there and go via the RIng. Got to earn that ring sticker I've got on my car haven't I.
