Penalties for speeding to be linked to speed?

Subject line says it all really... linky (BBC News) to full story.

    Ck.
Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...

Hah, here in Kekkoslovakia we have had income-dependant speed ticket system since the crusades.

Or what do You think of this:

BBC, News, BBC News, news online, world, uk, international, foreign, british, online, service
Everything less than 2 bar is considered to be naturally aspirated

Crap idea if you ask me, should focus on driving standards rather than speed since observation is far more important, than having to watch the speedo everywhere you go!

Although on the other hand why would someone(me, a couple of years back) get fined £60/3pts for doing 33mph in a 30mph(dual carriageway) when someone else could be doing upto 55mph and be given the same 3 points and £60 fine on the same piece of road?

The minister trotted out the usual rubbish about speed and accidents on TV, always makes me want to punch the little sh*ts when they lie about stuff so blatantly.

Maybe it's time for another one of those e-petitions ...and make it perfectly clear that we do have a choice at election time (assuming one of the major political parties can stop letting anti-speed people have the moral high ground that they do not deserve...)
