Major Talivan Rant, fing speed scameras

Right where to start,

At 07.00 hrs this morning I passed a talivan on a 3 lane national speed limit duel carriageway bridge in the West midlands.

I was travailing at a speed which in the s2 would result in no action being brought by the local police force.

Now, through not being informed I have discovered that the company VW transporter I was driving is classed as a goods vehicle as it has a MAM of >2000kg, and is therefore restricted to 60 mph on dual carriage ways.

I now have the long painful wait to see if the NIP will arrive
I need my licence as part on my employment, if this goes the wrong way ill be half way to unemployment.

I AM NOT A BOY RACER
I HAVE AN EXCELLENT DRIVING RECORD (sort of)
I HAVE 5+ YEARS NCB
I COVER OVER 400000 MILES PER YEAR

I AM NOT A CRIMINAL !!!!!!!!!!

As I side note, the "Association of British Drivers" is the only organisation that appearers to be fighting back.

Is anybody on hear a member ?

I have a hatred of the speed cameras which are there purely to make some cash. Quite often read ABD but not a member

What sort of speed were you doing in the transporter & is it twin rear wheel if thats the case then you are restricted to 60 mph.

Single rear axle, After reading some info yesterday afternoon it is of my understanding that all vans over 2000kg MAM are restricted to 60 on dual caridge ways ?

I don't want to give to much info on the web but lets just say if I where in a passenger car an NIP would not be issued.
