Well that's typical of TV production companies TBH.

I remember a drama that John Thaw did years ago where he was driving an Interceptor supplied by Jensen Cars, and they drove it into a wall ...and when the damage didn't look "convincing" enough they took to it with hammers...

Jensen, at the time, said they would no longer loan cars to production companies.

It was shown in yesterdays sun, typical of them not knowing much they just referred to it as an audi, could have at least said a ur quattro.

Well they was lucky to have the audi rings in the picture otherwise it would have been, un-named car gets damaged.

It's still owned by the production company. Reliably informed it was bought by them from someone in South Wales.
The Cortina from the previous show was sold on fleabay for 10k, bloke who bought it was at the NEC with it.
Expect to see this UR for sale when the show ends.

Yep, a chap called Rick from the quattroforum. Who, before selling it, spent a lot of time and effort on the paint job too!

Why would he care if he got market wedge for it? Hate to say it, but if the production company owns it, then they can do what they dang well like really.

Its only a red UR at the end of the day - much less rare than the S2 (hides).
