        Why not www.vagparts.com ?

Part number you want for entire head gasket set is 034 198 012 M - same for 3B/ABY and RS2. Priced about £200 retail from Audi UK plus dreaded VAT.

vagparts get genuine items in direct from Germany - bypassing the Audi UK channels - and the price is always better in my experience. They know a thing or two about the S2 as well

Oh BTW - call them if that part number isn't on their website - they can order anything if its available from Audi.

Try price the parts seperate from the dealers,
Why so much? head gasket is less than £40,, seems alot left for cam cover gas, in/ex gas, cam oil seal, water rail gas, valve stem seals.

            worth a try!

Well in Audi UK prices, about £60 plus VAT will be the VSOS.

                SOme other crazy prices there...

Deffo worth selecting which bits you definitely need in the complete kit. I'll post later with all the kit details and approx prices as a sticky reference point.

OR give Quattro Corner a ring, Pete has a couple of the Victor Reinz kits for c£120.

or ty VAG Parts and speak to Martyn,

Having just fitted genuine parts (as I didn't know Pete had a kit in) the VAG Parts prices are (approx):-

                          HG is £42+
                          EM gasket is £29+
                          Inlet gasket £5
                          TB gasket £2
