hi there i know a few of you are from the birmingham area so i am asking where to go on a sat night, and if there is any sort of dress code, you know no jeans trainers etc, a few of us are going down to the piston heads show next sat and stopping over at the premier inn on broad st cheers

Cheap and cheerful?

Big night of expensive drinking with fine wines and ladies?

Big night out at a club?

If you're on Broad Street then you'll be right in the middle of the meat market which can be good but also can be a mare if it's not what you're after.

erm... you can go very wrong on broad st

if its a beer and kebab fueled street fight you're after, or fatty muttons dressed as lambs then thats the place.
If you fancy a few quiet drinks and a bite to eat there are a few nice pubs and bars around the city centre, Bacchus as Carlos suggested is nice, can recommend Bennets on Bennets Hill as a nice place for a few beers.

i was going to suggest toe tecters and a stab jacket, but then i used to visit some right dives, my local was the bikers pub until it went all feccing "Cafe Renee"...

Broad street is the younger side of Birmingham, walk or take a taxi to the Arcadian in China town, have a few drinks then go to Oceana just round the corner.

Oceana is shirt and shoes only but has 4 rooms to cater for different tastes.

Queue can get big after 10-10.30

Maybe we need to know abit more about the party that will be visiting? eg average beer consumption, age, cost of clothes...distance willing to walk in the rain...

Back Jamo up on that one but also the top end of broad street can be okay. Hard rock cafe, Henry J's, Ipanema etc all good
