That's what I thought when I saw yours... but your paintwork is in far better condition. Steve would have to respray mine first, and then perform his 'black magic' on it to get something near your finish

saw a pearl white avant a few weeks ago(cant be too many of them around?) I think the number plate started with B2,was driven by a female

The Audi S2 Avant Register

This is a register I am compiling to try and find see how many are still on the road, broken, what colours there were etc etc.
Any information provided will only be used for this register, and kept on my pc (the only online reference to it will be this thread, which I will update as information comes in - total cars on the register, and colour info)
The only information requested is the registration and colour. Registrations will NOT be posted on this thread, nor will they be available to anyone else apart from moderators/admin or other trusted people on this site.
VIN & engine number will also be added to the register if you wish to provide it, but is not essential.

Please DO NOT post the information on this thread if you wish to have your car added, send it to me via PM ONLY.

Should I move on and not wish to maintain the register, I will make this known and offer the chance for someone else to take it on.
Mods/Admin will ultimately decide if the new person is to be trusted with the information.

Information is found via ebay, Autotrader, Pistonheads, other for sale websites, and any pictures spotted on other forums/galleries.
If you believe your car may be on the register, and would like it removed, please PM me and I can verify if I have it on there, you may only give part of the registration if you wish.

Hi Dest, if the top picture is M***MPC then that was mine, 'IF' it is the same car it is now RIP, the lady who bought it form me sold it on very soon after she took ownership and the guy who then had it had a bad accident in it which took out the front end as a whole, the engine and box were touching the passenger seat, i saw it at an insurance compound about 3 months ago and the rear number plate was lying in the boot which confirmed my old beastie. Judging by the date this was originally posted it times in to when she sold it on if the ad's on PH were current at the time.
Loved that car.

TBH i can't remember the full number, after i bought it i put my p/plate on and threw the original plates in the bin, before i sold it the DVLA issued another mark and i thought it was M864 MPC, i am trying to find some piccies of it when i first bought it but no luck as yet, all the paper-work went to the lady who bought it, including the bill of sale i was given from my old boss who sold it me. I know it was M??? MPC as the last 3 letters were something to do with my old bosses initials. But, yes it was mine, last time i saw it it was in an insurance compound in Ross on Wye, i was there collecting some bits and bobs from my father in laws Honda which had been stolen etc...
I assume it was bought and re-sold privately then? Is it back on the road? Or did some-one try to sell it and then put a claim in?

I remember just after my boss had bought it he let me and a collegue take it out for a spin, wonderful memories of racing a TWR XJ40 from Birdlip to Gloucester and being overwhelmed by the grip it had on roundabouts, never saw the Jag again! I knew then i had to have one. THAT one. Just after i bought it my brothers boss had an RS2 LHD, ex cat D (he owns a breakers in Gloucester), my brother bought it over to show me, swine.

Loved that car though, in a way i'm glad it's written off , i never wanted to sell it (baby arrived) and i hated the thought of someone else owning it, and i still get jealous whenever i see an Avant

Any more info on it? I never really did much to it, engine was standard, brakes had EBC red stuff pads fitted, dash speakers were changed for a pair of Infinity reference, It had an appetite for tyres, was lucky if a pair of fronts lasted 2000 miles, always rated Avon Turbospeeds, expensive though. Afaik my bosss had some sort of chip up-grade, to what i don't know, but it used to shove.

Are you still doing the register Dest? Now that you've gone to the dark side If so, mine is not Indigo Blue as I first thought. It is in fact Brilliant Blue. Thanks to another member on here
