Hmmm.. dilemma..

Just started a new job and consequently will be using a car to get to and from. The problem is it is around 450 miles per week and with petrol around £1 per litre, driving an average of 80mph how much will it cost me? I would get a 60mpg diesel and let the missus use the S2 but she cant drive her properly and I'm worried when she has it! (Is this normal S2 owner behaviour ) She is too big and fast for her anyway! What can I do???

Get a 2nd car and keep the S2, it doesn't cost anymore to do so if you do the figures

Unplug the WGFV and let the missus use it.
Or fit a boost controller as it's easier to switch.

Seriously though, the missus wants a small 1.4 or similar, I need a diesel for work and keep S2. 3 cars then!! 3 x tax, mot and insurance costs. I'll have to sort something as can't bear to part with my pride & joy!! Cheers guys Just out of interest how much would it cost in S2 450 miles weekly, £1 litre, average 80 mph??
