It's official now....

Seeing as it's official now, I can tell everyone...

...RTN (Racing Technology Norfolk) based in Hingham, is closing, and I am being made redundant along with the vast majority of the staff.

I've been there since the first working day after Ayrton Senna died and I've seen some stuff. Most notably our victory at Le Mans in 2003 with the Bentleys.

So there you go - fourteen years of service with the same company comes to an end soon, and I can't pretend I won't miss the old place.

In order - some of the cars I was involved with over the years...











...there were others of course!

Thanks guys ...we actually knew before Christmas but it was still at the consultation stage.

Yep we did some of the ducting for the Veyron, all made on mirror-like polished aluminium moulds (also made in-house at RTN).

I was much more heavily involved with design in the earlier years and I want to get back into that - I have some plans for development parts for my S2 which might be marketable but wouldn't necessarily be cheap ...but then, good stuff is never cheap!

@KOTK - Thats a big dent when you have been somewhere for so long (BTDT myself about 7 yrs ago), but a man of your skills and experience will not be out of a job for long... You'll be fine !
