Well this morning thought i would give the car the once over ..Got a shot of a ramp so made best use of it

    After going through everthing

I have one thing that is needing fixed now...Petrol leak under the heat sheild coming down from the bulkhead looks like rotten pipe half way up

Another thing puzzled me was that the front swing arms are different ?...not sure if its because it has been replaced with non-OEM part(mobile pic)

Now ..I have to change over petrol piping what would you guys recommend ?..My thoughts are just to go down the high pressure braided route for all of them?

Got the A8 sport wheels on now to, looking much more beefer

I noticed having one pressed and one cast wishbone that the side with the pressed sat slightly lower and resulted in my 19's rubbing the arch and it also helped work the nuts loose on the balljoint.

Nope I have had no problems from stuff that s2dude fitted to the car, I had a new wishbone fitted for the mot by a garage who fitted it but didn't know I needed the cast one on both side.

Ugh on those fuel lines... I'm going to do my fuel filter soon and check the pipework - I am dreading that job if I find some 'orrible crusty looking sections. Deffo go for sections of copper tubing instead of the massive expensive on the OEM parts.

There is no problem with fitting cast / non cast wishbones to either side as long as matched ball joints are also fitted.

I had this problem about 8 months ago and had to replace the fuel lines. It isnt an easy job by anymeans. To fit entire lines you would need the engine out to do it properly so what Bry did with copper piping looks to be a good option
