          If it turns out to be rubbish at least its only a few quid down the drain. Wouldn't have minded one myself.

                      and circular saws get all gunked up with skin and meat - no good

                        At least no-one's suggested using a belt sander to remove the skin first...

                          starve them for a few days, then it comes off in one piece, and feeds the dogs. Bonus!
