Just had my s2 for a month now and I am very pleased so far until last night when I went to a rolling road night at Star Performance where I decided to get the s2 dyno'd more for a dyagnostic point of veiw than a power output, just because the car is 14 years old just wanted o make sure it was healthy, and...........................
Yep it is! I am even happier now 241.5bhp!
Operators comments were, "F***ing beautiful"!
Good news there fella, better than my 166bhp dyno run before Christmas, which reminds me I need to get mine back on there.

Pretty healthy for stock trim alright - must be finally run after 14yrs
Not be funny though - what transmission losses did their dyno come up with ?
Or put another way - what did you see at the wheels ?
Yep, MAHA is the name of a dyno.
One of the few types where I sort of trust the calculated value for flywheel power, as it uses advanced algorithms to find it, instead of unloaded coastdown or simply wild guesswork, as seems to be the norm in that industry.
The MAHA will show extremely low at-the-wheels numbers, for example, Javad's (from 034) famous 80 Quattro pulled approx 395hp at the wheels, corrected to 622hp at the flywheel on the MAHA.
At the wheels numbers from a MAHA can't be compared to those from, say a Dynojet.

Yes I see what you mean. Star performance are a vw audi specialist and the guy knows his stuff so thats prob why he has got a more accurate dyno or a MAHA as you said.
I've had previous cars on a dynojet and now that you mention it the operator kept on revving the car on the rundown, which I was a bit weary of.
Thanks for that infoit's good to know.
