    Crappy Week

Look what happened to my car on Thursday..

Some stupid Cow thought it would be funny to drive into the side of my car as I was exciting the roundabout.. Didnt see it coming ...Gutted

This has forced my hand Its going in for a full respray and some tender loving care I'm changing the suspension, bushes, wheels (if i can find some) and getting rid of that 80's porn star interior.. Going to get a daily driver and park this up for weekends..
    s2 new project

    On going !!!

        Feel for ya

This sort of thing scare the poo out me, what with the scarcity of parts for our beloved jam jars, and what the insurance swines value them at.

I agree with making good of a bad situation, get her off the road, arrange alternative transport (remember 2nd class driving beats first class walking) sort the damage plus all those things you were going to get round to.

Hope your back on the road audi wise soon.

        cheers

I'm confident you will sort it

When you think about it £1800 is about right in a straight world.

I'm guessing but a new genuine door from Audi must cost more than my house !

Automotive paint regulations have squeezed body shops to the limit and skilled labour is expensive.

                but hey you ain't paying

                cheers

Hey Rob you can request that pole be moved if its on your land, or BT will pay a fee of around £150 pa.
Let me know if you need it move'd as i can help with putting you in contact with right department.
See what you mean about that bank behind, could cause sreious problems in heavy rain,
you could put a scour mat over the surface and then turf over it (depends on gradient of bank)to bind it together and reduce the ammount of slip.
Would be a cheeper option but you would need to dig a gully at the bottom for water run off.
