Can see it now, small little skinny bloke comes in waffle's for a bit then says right

        fire up the quattro
then goes out and blow's the door off the competition.

        Then comes back and says:

if you want to drive safe, drive a quattro
        fade to black.

          Dorset Police

3 of my friends have recently received these in Dorset, One of them had his car Flat Bedded and impounded the second time... He had been driving for only a week and claimed he wasn't used to the car, I beleive he span the wheels a little trying to pull away at a roundabout.

The "Fuzz" obviously have received a Memo saying that they need to issue more tickets as the cake and dougnuts are running out and they need more money in the Kitty to buy some more!

            Jealous of my mileage much?

On another note, going through a 50 patch on a dual carriageway (great idea btw ) at night I had someone riding my *** on the outside lane so I naturally sped up a bit. Ended up a downhill part doing about 75 passing some on the inside, was looking in my rearview to see who the hell it was. Saw a little thing on top of the car, it looked like something a taxi had. Was wondering what in the devil a taxi would be doing sitting on my rear bumperstrip?

Then looked a bit closer and it said POLICE. Said whoops, bout time, been flashed by several speed cameras and no fine in the mail but guess they caught me this time! Continued my pass (at 75mph+ ) and went back in the inside and started coasting back down to the speed limit. To my surprise, the copper just pulled up next to me and gave me a and sped off

            if I see him again!

Section 59 is an Antisocial behaviour offence. So it's a very grey area when it comes to knowing what is going to get you nicked, as it's down to the individual copper if they think you are driving/behaving in an antisocial way.....

I'm going to go hide now cause if you get nicked for this and get your car towed, impounded (and possibley crushed!! if you don't pay up in time) I'm one of the guy's the police at scene ring to arrange recovery for your car to be taken away and stored. (Sorry it's just a job!!)

I'm in work tonight so I'll see if there is any literature knocking about the office that I can post up without getting my wrists slapped that clarifies just what grounds they need to issue you with a section 59

On my form he hasnt wrote what i have done wrong he has crossed out one section and left the other two.
The sections are ''i believe that you are/have been driving in a careless/inconsiderate manner''

''in a manner which is causing/has been causing/is likly to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public''

Basicly what happened is i was at a roundabout that has 4 exits i wanted the 1st exit so i was in the correct lane the car on my right went and i went as i was partly across i seen a police car coming round the roundabout quickly it didnt have its blues on but i thought i would accerate quickly to get out of his way, there was no tyree slipage or anything. he followed me a mile to the next roundabout. This roundabout has 5 exits i wanted the 3rd exit and i was in the right lane and he came along side me on my left he was going to take the 2nd exit, we both pulled away at the same time and i went faster than him around the inside of the roundabout, then he cuts in behind me and puts his blues on and i pulled into the layby and got out. he asked the usual am i in a rush? no officer. is it your car? yes officer. he said it looked like i nearly lost control on the first roundabout even tho it was prefectly dry and i do know how to drive. and i could of scared someone coming the other way and caused them to crash. he was gunna let me off with that he said. but then he seen me pull away quickly and it sounded like my tyres were letting go at the next so he thought he would pull me. he said he could give me 6 points for wot he had seen. dont think he had it on video but he said he would give me a section 59 instead. i dont think it was justified

Oh yeah according to him ABS only helps you stop in a straight line

What you said above Dan sounds perfectly reasonable on your part. If anything he should have been thank full that you were able to get out of his way at speed.

Could it be that he is just annoyed that you outmaneuvered him on a roundabout, from my experience they tend to like it if your scared. Pulling away from him on the exit probably hurt his feelings and his ego.

In my opinion i think he was just being a moron TBH

Ok maybe i shouldnt of pulled away quick but i dont see it as a dangerous thing if u get off a roundabout quickly with out holding ppl up.
