after a big pain in the backside getting the car home I am now an S2 Avant owner, piccies will follow after a good clean up and what I am about to write below has been sorted......
Right picked the car up got ten miles down the road and lost all gears with the engine running. Clutch was not dissengaging.
Relayed back by the AA and left the car with the wizard (bless him) to look at today.
So Mr Wizard is fitting a new master cylinder for the clutch as that is the problem, in need of a new clutch faily soon too.
Also need front suspension as the current passengers side one has let go big style. Other than that the car has a coolant leak (not a major one) and a power steering pump leak.
But a deal was struck with the seller and all are happy.
Here's to getting the car back asap.
So..... Does anyone have any decent (Rs2 spec or billies or koni's) not being used or used for the front of an avant?????
