Lidl by any chance? I bought a small one roughly the same size last week, dosnt seem to have much power behind it either. It will remove wheel nuts but not much else. was worth the money for the tyre line and sand blasting kit :mischeif:

Yup thats the badger
Already come in handy drying my car after a wash and checking my tyre pressures
My ex-spanner monkey mate told me it should run a decent air gun, just not for prolonged use. The pressure is high enough he recons, but will only give a few seconds use before needing to re-charge - ok for me as its only going to be used for the odd troublesome suspension bolt etc :mischeif:
Just the gun that is pants not the power of the compressor i'm led to believe
FLOW is the thing here folks... Forget pressure (for now) - the compressor will state a figure of something in CFM (cubic feet per minute). Use that to select a suitable airgun that can be driven with that amount of air... Browse somewhere like www.machinemart.co.uk - they have a wide range of air tools to suit all budgets and specifications.
Wow - those look pretty high spec for the money and for the CFM requirement.
See some of these only specified in liters per minute instead of old currency of CFM - 100 l/min is approx 4cfm but there's more accurate converters on line for a proper answer
good info guys, seen the Ingersoll guns earlier - one supplied 1000lbft !!!
The compressor Mark and I seem to have bought is 270 l/min with a 24 litre tank, easily enought for a decent gun, like those Ingersoll Rand jobbies... some cheap snap-on ones on the bay too
A compressor rated at 4cfm is deffo at the low end of the game. My own lil 30liter Clarke jobby is rated for 6 or 7cfm - that gives me a bit more headroom and choice of tools. Be interested to see if these Ingersoll-Rand tools can cut the mustard at 4cfm - maybe perfick for wheel nuts and the odd big bolt you can access.
As said before you need one that has a range near to the capacity of your compressor.
Got a 300 litre 90 cfm one in work and have this windy gun - never had a problem with it iin 3 years and it's never failed to get any nut/bolt loose!! but then it's a very big(and foooking noisy!!) compressor!
you cant get better than cp (chicago pneumatic) or as said Ingersoll those machine mart are lets just say there not up to the job and wont last five minutes where as if you paid out the extra for the above they will out live you dont be fooled by snap on or bluepoint there air tools are not top of the range just because there a top tool brand

The IR Titinium is the most powerfull 1/2 drive air gun about. I have one. It takes stuff off my 3/4 gun doesnt useing less air! Ment to do 1000 ft/lb of nut busting torque. Light too. At least compared to the 3/4 and 1 inch guns... Ebay....
I second that, they have mahoosive cahoonas, the double hammer impact drive makes them devour most things on a car. The only danger is it is easy to snap bolts with them. My job in the UK used to have about 10 of them and they ran for years without problem.
