How odd i sold the reg B5 NHS to a guy on the forum that came off my old S6 which is/was amethyst in colour or grey in most lights. be really odd if the 2 had now rejoined each other

Now that is very odd, i sold the said car to a chap from Bournemouth i think but around a week later the engine had a major issue ie new engine needed, now i know that the car was at White cottage quattros for Pete to fit a new engine etc and that was about 2 weeks ago! I remember the number plate Ian but i thought that you had that on retention?

Oh i see, well all that i have been told from Pete about the engine was that it probably was runny very rich in number 5 cyl and the temp got to high or something knackering the piston which went through the block etc, he had told me that the new owner has a replacement coming from Germany and lots of bits coming from 034 motorsport. When i see Pete next i will get the full low down.

i have never ever seen a 5 cycl engine do that, please let me know what the outcome is
