3 lanes, 2 branch 180 degrees to the left,the 3rd straight on.
All 3 lanes marked with arrows on the road
im in the middle lane about to go left
the car on my lefthand side decides to go straight on and head straight on NOT left
i am half a car length ahead of it as it decides to turn into me
CRUNCH
FEK!!
i get out and 2 slight marks on the back nearside door (spit and wipe = Gone)
HER car bumper torn off and her paint fooked.57plate Focus

I explain the correct lane procedure to her,she accepts blame (i know means nowt as she can change her mind)
My car barely any damage,her car plenty of.
Seeing Dans problem recently im thinking dont get insurance involved,do i try to settle for cash or quit whilst ahead?
Even though not my fault if i claim it could still be held against me next time i renew my policy.
car is a 93 avant and the age is against it
i reckon just let it go?

if theres no damage i'd be inclined to say leave it mate, trouble is it might apppear to be fine, but problems beneath the surface. My boss had someone hit him from behind recently (new 335 BMW) slight nick on bumper, but it had bent in, dented the rear of the shell and the bumper had popped back out leaving little evidence of damage.... £1400 repair bill

I'd give your car a proper good check over, top and bottom and see what happens, take it from there, you got all her details?

If I were you with very little damage I would just let it go and let her claim for her car on her insurance.

got her details she rang me just now.told her to take her car to the insurance company and see if they want to see my car,the alloy wheels a bit marked but twas already.
the alloys are declaired but not covered under the policy.i said to see if they fancy refurbing them,but again this will ount as a claim even though not my fault. group 18 car is expensive enough as it is
