    moped...good idea?

don't laugh guys,im considering getting one. Where I work there is no parking except for motorcycles (free) and they are cheap as chips to run. Problem is I know jack about motorbikes,Ive always hated them.

    Questions:

    Im 6 ft 3 and 18 stone...do i need 2 of them?

    How much to insure roughly?

Can I buy and ride straight away? (or do i have to do CBT?)

I hate Plymouth City Council, and the bus service is a load of Barry White...especially in this weather!!

No No No...Mopeds are great in Milan or any other nice European city...

There is nothing cool about riding a moped in the UK..

I had a loan of one from one of the guys in work and it was utter crap. So much so, I stuck it in the garage for a fortnight and never looked at it...

Just read the 6ft 3 and 18 stone bit...Same as me...

In that case really dont...You will look daft, trust me..

Pass your bike test and at least get something that looks like a bike and you dont look like the plasterscene charecters in the Micheal Jackson movie..

get a cheep honda city express! £50 insurance, fuel tank holds a max of £4 and it lasts for about 50-odd miles!

i used one for a motorcycle rally.

If you are going to get a moped at least get a Gilera Dna at least it looks like a proper bike

Trouble is at your size you will dwarf it and yes you do need to do a CBT.
