Finally getting round to changing this and can't find one listed on VAG Parts site, anyone know the part number for an ABY tandem PAS Pump (does the brake servo thingy as well)???
Just out of interest, why are you changing it? Audi do a seal kit if it is leaking. IIRC it was £11
Already did the leak thing a couple of years back but it is very noisey and i get the Red warning when starting the car so i'm sure it isn't putting out enough pressure (bomb seems OK when doing the press the brake pedal 30 or more times after switching off test)...
Clean the PAS fluid reservoir cap (or replace it) as this can cause the (!) on startup as teh level sensor gets clogged up. Spray a little WD40 on the belt (this was the problem on mine, amazing how much noise it made), replace if necessary. Replace the PAS fluid a couple of times, this also quietened mine down somewhat.
If none of this works then you're only about £20 out of pocket but that's a lot cheaper than the £250+ that these are exchange form VAG Parts.
I replaced mine with a secondhand unit from a low mileage S2 for £40.

This makes no sense. The pump generates the pressure once the car is running. It's while the car is parked that the pressure is being lost.
I'd be looking elsewhere before spending ~£300 on something that may not fix the problem.
The fluid in the system is definitely the right stuff (hydraulic oil G 00 2000 or G 00 4000) ?
What makes no sense... After starting the car (RUNNING) i get the Red Warning for hydraulic pressure on the dash!!! After stopping the car (NOT RUNNING) and doing the brake pedal Bomb test the Bomb seems OK?????????????
All i need is the part number???
The pump itself is what is making lots of noise, i know you can strip these and recon them yourself but i'm not that mechanical...

8G0 145 165V is the p/n for the Pump (Outright buy).
