The bloke who posted the pics has added this:
A11 just outside Thetford. On his way back from a day at Snetterton. Guy was trapped and we had to cut the door slightly to release him. Apparantly he was watching his mate in the rear view mirror and didn't see the traffic had slowed. Pushed the Audi about 100ft!!Comment

Testiment to the strength of the A8 though, just a few scratches on the bumpers and a bit of paint would fix that, bet the elise's body disn't even damage the subframe or anything else....... WOuld be easy to get that back on the road... The elise however.... hmmmmmmm how do you put it, BIN IT!!!Dark Grey Avant

I have to say I am impressed by the build quality of the Lotus, considering it's mostly built out of aluminium and that the frame the windscreen is mounted in is made of plastic I think it survived pretty wellComment
