I think I would break down. I spent ages tracking down interior rattles in mine. Nearly got them all sorted. To have to start from scratch.

Just one of many jobs the insurance company can't help you with.

If I came out to see someone set my car alight I'd probably see the red mist and reinact the first scene from American History X!

Gutting, and even more so that it was so rare. It just seems like such a waste to me to set a car alight. If I was the criminal I'd walk away, tell someone else that I'd tried and failed to nick this mint Evo and see if they'd help me next time! Really can't understand why you'd want to just burn it, doesn't make sense?! But then I suppose I like and care for cars, they just want an adrenline soaked 3min pilot ride.

But like everything, machines can be replaced... lets just hope he gets something reasonable back from his insurance!
