    Reg. VAGParts email service.

How long should I expect it to take before they will answer my e-mail?
Sent one Thursday morning and still no reply, perhaps it got lost?

    A more simple question:
    When should I get worried?

    Any BTDT on this one

Please note that I'm NOT ranting here, I'm just curious.

Emails to vag parts NEVER get lost and from I heard they are working nights too to catch up with the correspondance.

In UK it was Bank holiday monday, also lots of staff members take advantage of this and book fridays off as holidays, which results in every business running a little behind.

I would give it untill tomorrow and then call them instead.

Never email them unless you don't mind waiting a few days for a reply. It's far quicker to call.

Ditto, they do answer emails I sent one last week and got a excellent service response from Martyn ever other working day as I was not in a hurry and then phoned to pay.

If you are in a hurry phone is the best option.

It was bank holiday weekend this week so there is going to be a massive back log

Thanks for all the input guys!
            Swift answers here as always
However, I of course jinxed my self by creating this thread.
Got a reply from martynf almost immediatly after:-D
He was very helpful and informative, and actually apologized me for having to wait for an answer, as he has his staff out for two weeks.
Oh well, all good i guess

I saw martyn on friday, he said on friday they was approx 1-2 days behind, the problem he has now is alan is on holiday for 2 weeks which is going to push it back again for them. They do respond it sometimes takes a couple of days to get one but you will get it. Martyn's also been working at home after hours to try keep on top of this problem.

I remember when martyn took a holiday and it built up to like 14 days backlog. From then on he's not allowed days off

Unlike other companies however, they do reply to every email and they have put procedures in place to help the backlog. As you can imagine some emails take hours to answer (finding part codes and what goes with what)

                  .

Yep,I agree with all said so far. These have been my experiences exactly.

Them only having one phone line is a bit of a pita but thats how it is.

I would go as far as to say that VAG Parts have given me the best customer service of any company I have ever dealt with.Martyns CS Skills IMHO are second to none.He actually loves what he does and cares a monkeys!
