    Boosting RS2 power.

I would like to up the power of my RS2 to 350bhp, however I want to keep it driving the same and not damage the car mechanicals or reduce the cars life. I am thinking that a simple remap would do the trick am I correct in thinking this?

For 350 bhp get a S2central RS2 Homefry. Cheap as chips and best bang per buck money can buy.

For optimum performance get a MRC high boost remap which i've learnt today is a 1.9 bar special!

I was very interested in the high boost map and called MRC to find out more...

Earlier today, I spoke to Lucas who confirmed that as I had had the custom re-map, my car was tuned to the max possible safe limits, which is nice to know. I mentioned a high boost chip and he wasn't sure what I was on about. So I guess, with a custom re-map some may be higher than others on boost levels....

Has anyone compared home-fries with a custom map?

                Just wondering.....

A Custom map is always better than generic if performed correctly as it's mapped on the engines characteristics and takes into account all mods.

However a good generic map is cost effective and the homefry has been dyno proved time and again to be one of the best generic if not arguably the best on the market.

Pays your money takes your choice.

Boost isn't everything. Less boost could mean that you're running more ignition advance.
