    First MOT failure in 4years!

As the title suggests, my usually trouble free S4 has failed it's MOT today for the first time since I've owned it. It failed on 3 things, the first being a twisted brake hose (easy fix), then there's the blowing exhaust which needs welding. Bit gutted about the exhaust cos my new 3" turbo back was ordered on Monday. The third and worst failure was the steering rack mounting brackets which have come loose on both sides and need welding, which would be easy enough apart from everything being in the bloody way. Apparently it's my own fault for having big, heavy wheels and tyres! You live and learn I guess.

Oh dear Trist, not ideal. Try to get some better access and see what's going on...

        Absolutely not!!

Wish I was capable of doing it myself to be honest, but alas I'll just have to leave it to the "experts" and pay the bill!

Maybe just squeeze some JB weld in there and hope for the best?

Yeah maybe. I reckon I could get a silicone gun in there with some gripfix!
