F1 Testing Silverstone

Just in case you fancy a nosey at this years cars humming round the GP circuit without having to fork out silly money for the race itself and be up at 2am to actually get parked and trackside

I went a couple of years ago with my lad and was a great day....nothing quite like hearing a single f1 car flying round rather than the wasps you hear on TV

As its an official FIA test, most if not all the teams should be out over the 3 days.

It was £10 pay on the gate last year, 12 via ticket only this year... its going to go up every year now

I remember the day when I drove to the main gate in the wife's porsche on a test day and all the fans at the main gate started pointing their camera's in my direction, they looked very bemused when I was waved straight through even though they had no idea who I was

That was back in he days when I used to work in the F1 industry and could watch the testing from the pitwall
