@golfinghppo - was anything done/modified on no 11 the 3 door estate, i've gotta pick up a 1990 in white next week and have plans for it.

also what's happened with your clutch, i've currently got clutch problems atm.

the old escort shed hmm peco 4 inch at the back webber carb k@n rs turbo wheels and springs slightley adjusted with a grinder and to the audi yesterday in 3rd gear no silly amount of revs whent for 4th and got nothing but no loss of fluids pedal feels fine but who knows was thinking it was maybe on its way because some times it was alittle resistant in the mornings so tomorrow i will have a closer look and maybe brake down in tears hope i get a lot of recovery jobs this weekend i will stitch them all think i will do the cambelt and waterpump at same time hey at least i am saving on petrol my bike or my mums escort is a little less juicy

Not that many

Always liked to keep my cars and modify them so:-
My first car in 1980 was a 1100 Mk1 Escort that ended up with 1650cc and 120bhp, with all the proper RS2000 running gear and home made digital dash.
1985 saw me change to an Alfa Romeo Sprint cloverleaf, but it started rusting before I did much too it so it had to go but was a great handling fwd car.
Then in 1986 I bought my first Audi, a 1982 square headlamp 1921cc GT coupe, that ended up with a 130bhp 2.1 Fi engine.
1991 bought the Coupe quattro that I still own, though it is now my weekend toy.
1996 bought a cheap runaround as had started with the first of the 2 small imps with my wife insisting she stays off work to bring them up for the first 5 years, result a 1986 Mk2 golf 1.6. 2001 saw this changed for a 1990 Passat GT as imps getting bigger (Another good handling car). Finally my present family transport, a 1998 Passat TDi sport with a long list of mods...Due to be changed next year.
